Position Overview:
The Cinematographer and Video Editor will be responsible for capturing, editing, and producing video content for various platforms. This role combines technical skills in cinematography with creative video editing abilities to create visually compelling stories. The candidate will have a keen eye for details, a passion for visual storytelling, and proficiency with the latest video editing software and camera equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Plan, shoot, and edit video content for various platforms, including websites, social media, and presentations.
• Collaborate with clients to develop video concepts, scripts, and storyboards, scout locations, schedule shoots, and arrange necessary equipment.
• Edit raw footage into polished final products using video editing software. Add graphics, special effects, sound effects, and music to enhance videos.
• Manage and organize photo and video files, ensuring a streamlined and efficient workflow.
• Keep abreast of industry developments and techniques to continuously improve skills and introduce fresh, creative ideas.
• Enthusiasm for experimenting with new techniques and tools to enhance visual content.
• Work with other creative professionals to achieve cohesive and consistent branding across all video content.
• Ability to adapt to various project requirements and deliver high-quality results under tight deadlines.
• Proactive problem-solving approach with a keen eye for identifying creative opportunities.
Requirements:
• Proven track record as a video editor and cinematographer with an impressive portfolio of work.
• Experience with motion graphics and animation software such as After Effects, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Affinity Designer, Procreate, Lightroom, Premiere Pro, CorelDraw, and Figma.
• Exceptional attention to detail and a creative eye.
• A professional Camera is a must.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills. Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• This position may require working in various settings, including studios, outdoor locations, and client sites.
